Tom Brady has announced that he will be taking time off from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for “personal reasons.” This news follows a story from an upcoming issue of Life & Style that Brady and his wife Gisele Bündchen are divorcing. According to the source, Bündchen “went berserk” when she found out that Brady was coming back to the NFL after announcing his retirement in February. But could that possibly be true?
The insider went on to tell Life & Style that she put her own life and career on hold to help him succeed, but that she is now through. She’s made too many concessions because of him, and he’s always looking out for number one. If he doesn’t take her threats seriously, they’ll end in divorce, a source claims, and word is getting around.
Suggest, however, brought up the fact that Bündchen wished Brady a happy birthday on Instagram earlier this month, suggesting that the rumor may not be real. In addition, the suggestion notes that divorce coverage on Brady appears frequently in Life & Style. An April article in Life & Style said Brady and Bündchen were at odds over his NFL comeback.
“Happy birthday to one of the most focused, disciplined and fashionable person I know!” This is what Bündchen said in her most recent Instagram post. “[Tom Brady] you are so loved and we are always here cheering for you and wishing you all the most wonderful things in life!”
One month before the start of the season, why is Brady spending time away from the Buccaneers? This, according to Head Coach Todd Bowles, was prearranged before training camp ever began. “This is something we talked about before training camp started,” Bowles clarified. “We allotted this time because he wanted to get in and chemistry with the guys and go through two weeks of training camp.”
“Knowing he wasn’t going to play the first two games he didn’t want to take away reps from Blaine and Kyle, as well as Griff, as far as going into these next two games. It’s something that he needs to handle. We trust him. We talked about it – it was scheduled way before training camp and he will not be here until after Tennessee.”
Brady and Bündchen tied the knot in February 2009, and they now share their lives together as parents to Benjamin and Vivian.
