The Haikyo Talent Management Agency recently confirmed that Motomu Kiyokawa, a voice actor, died at the age of 87. Haikyo said that Motomu Kiyokawa died of pneumonia in the official statement.
When Koji Asada, the president of Haikyo, heard about Motomu Kiyokawa’s death, he sent his condolences and asked that the public and media not interview Kiyokawa’s family or ask for public statements because the funeral of the late voice actor was only for family and close friends.

Motomu Kiyokawa, who died in 2012, was born in Tokyo on April 9, 1935. He joined the Haiyuze Theater Company when he was young and started working as an actor on stage.
Motomu Kiyokawa joined Haikyo Talent Agency later in 1968 and has been working there ever since. The actor has more than 100 roles to his name, both on stage and as a voice actor.
What Was Motomu Kiyokawa Best Known For?
Motomu Kiyokawa was a great voice actor who did the voices of 93 different image characters. But Kiyokawa was best known for being the voice of Kozo Fuyutsuki in the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Motomu Kiyokawa has been the voice of Kozo Fuyutsuki in all the movies and films that have been made, including Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death and Rebirth and Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion.
Kiyokawa is also known for playing the same character, Kozo, in more than one movie.
Motomu Kiyokawa has also been the voice of many other memorable characters, such as Walter in Hellsing, Time Rey in Mobile Suit Gundam, Tippy in Is the Order a Rabbit?, Norman Burg in The Big O, Isamu Kihara in A Lull in the Sea, and many others.

The news of Kiyokawa’s death came out a few hours ago, and as soon as his fans heard, they went online to pay tribute to the late voice actor.
