The first one dropped in Japan on 1st September 2007 and on 17 November 2009 in America. There has been a major gap of years between the Japan release date and the American release date. However, the “Evangelion 3.0+ 1.0” were released in the same year of 2021, both in Japan and America. In America, it dropped on 13th August 2021. So, the saga continues for a long time.
