American talk show presenter and Republican political commentator Sean Patrick Hannity was born on December 30, 1961. Since 2009, he has also presented a commentary show called Hannity on Fox News. His talk radio show, The Sean Hannity Show, is globally syndicated.
In 1989, while attending UC Santa Barbara, Hannity worked as a general contractor and volunteered as a talk show presenter. Eventually, he started working for WVNN in Athens, Alabama, and subsequently WGST in Atlanta. He moved on to WABC in New York after leaving WGST and stayed there until 2013. On December 30, 1961, Sean Patrick Hannity was born in New York City. He spent his childhood in the nearby community of Franklin Square, New York. His mother, Lillian, worked at a county jail as a stenographer and as a corrections officer, and his father, Hugh, worked as an officer in the family court system.

He is the youngest of four siblings. He is of Irish origin; all four of his grandparents moved to the United States from Ireland. St. Pius X Preparatory Seminary in Uniondale, New York, was where he completed his secondary education.
