In Los Angeles a robbery attempt resulted in the shooting death of rapper PnB Rock. After being sent to the hospital, he was pronounced dead there. An extremely gruesome video purporting to show Rock (actual name Rakim Allen) lying in a pool of blood on the floor has recently gone viral on the internet.
When the altercation occurred, Allen and his girlfriend were having dinner at Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles in Inglewood. Reports indicate that at approximately 1:23 p.m., police were called to help those who have been shot and seriously injured.
Many people posted messages supporting PnB Rock on Twitter. Still, others wondered if the gunman knew where the rapper was because his fiancée had shared his location on Instagram and tagged Roscoe’s account. TMZ reports that a witness claims the shooter ran off with all of PnB Rock’s valuables.

Akademiks, a prominent hip-hop podcaster, tweeted, “Wow.. this PNB Rock situation crazy. I just did an interview with him a week ago where he detailed how someone tried to rob him in LA recently while he was out with his girlfriend and daughter. Now.. this.. smh. Pray for PNB Rock.”
PnB Rock is a Philly native who found success with his 2016 track “Selfish,” which reached No. 51 on the Billboard Hot 100. Rock, formerly of the Atlantic Records label has made no secret of his joy upon being released from his Warner Music Group contract. “Luv Me Again,” his debut independent album was released on September 2.
After 4 p.m. local time, the LAPD released a statement mentioning a “shooting investigation” on W Manchester Ave. involving a male Black victim. A murder was committed there, authorities eventually determined.
The whole music community mourned the loss of PnB Rock after hearing the tragic news.
