Jerma Meme: Jerma985, also known as Jerma, is a former Youtube Let’s Player turned Twitch streamer, professional video gamer, and voice actor. He is best known for his Team Fortress 2 video commentary, the Jerma Rumble, and other comedic gameplay videos, as well as co-op commentary with other YouTubers like STAR, Ma3la, and Boo.
Origin
On June 11, 2011, Jerma posted his first video, “TF2- Spy: Goldrush (First Commentary),” in which he introduced himself and provided commentary on a play-through of the Spy class on the Team Fortress 2 level Goldrush. He would post a video of himself playing the Medic class on the game’s Dustbowl area later that day (shown below, right).
Spread
Over the years, Jerma posted an increasing number of videos, and his repertoire grew to include more than just Team Fortress commentary. He started reporting on several other video games, including Grand Theft Auto and the Pac-Man series, as well as generally bizarre and entertaining gameplay, including playing TF2 while using voice recognition software to control his character (below, right)

One of his most watched videos is “Fat Guy Engie,” which was uploaded on June 19, 2014, and has received over 1.1 million views. In it, he responds to the “Level Three Chin,” which had just been added at the time.

Another Let’s Play YouTuber who goes by the name Niichts is STAR_, a close buddy of Jerma’s. The two of them frequently share footage of one another playing either cooperatively or competitively.

Jerma is not just a commentator but also a video game player and voice actor. In addition to having a Newgrounds account and voice-acting his own characters in his videos for comedic effect, he has worked on a variety of games.
