People on the Internet are talking about what US President Joe Biden told a young girl about how to date. Mr. Biden tells the girl in a video that is going viral on social media, “No serious guys until you’re 30.”
At the beginning of the video, President Biden is taking pictures on campus during a meet-and-greet. Moments later, he says to a young woman in his presence, “Now, a very important thing I told my daughters and granddaughters.” He adds, “No serious guys until you are 30.”
The girl, who seemed a little awkward, said, “Okay, I’ll keep that in mind” and started laughing. The dating advice video has been watched more than 5 million times and people on Twitter have had different reactions to it. Some people said the girl looks “uncomfortable,” but others said the problem is “blown out of proportion.”

Another person wanted some clarity. “So just… unserious guys until she’s 30? What does that even mean?” People on social media said they were “surprised, not uncomfortable.”

“She doesn’t look uncomfortable. It was a typical dad thing to say,” read one of the comments. Before this, Joe Biden made headlines when he talked about his friendship with a girl who was 18 years younger than him.
During his speech to the National Education Association, the US President stopped in the middle because he seemed to know a woman in the crowd. “You gotta say hi to me. We go back a long way. She was 12, I was 30. But anyway, this woman helped me get an awful lot done,” he said.
