This November, Netflix will release new seasons of shows like “The Crown” and “Dead to Me.” November is shaping up to be a huge month for Netflix, with new blockbuster films, seasons of several of their signature shows, and numerous new series from some of the industry’s biggest names.
Imelda Staunton will replace Claire Foy and Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II in Season 5 of Netflix’s Emmy-winning blockbuster The Crown, which also stars Jonathan Pryce, Elizabeth Debicki, Lesley Manville, and Dominic West. Dead to Me, the critically acclaimed dark comedy starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini, will also return for its third and final season after a two-and-a-half-year hiatus.
Another highly anticipated title set to premiere in November is Tim Burton’s Wednesday, a new live-action Addams Family series starring Jenna Ortega as Gomez and Morticia’s death-obsessed pig-tailed kid. Falling for Christmas, a holiday-themed romantic comedy starring Lindsay Lohan will also be available on the streaming service in November.
There are also lots of terrific new family films, such as the fantasy adventure Slumberland starring Jason Momoa, My Father’s Dragon from Cartoon Saloon, and the highly awaited sequel Enola Holmes 2 starring Millie Bobby Brown in the eponymous role and Henry Cavill as her elder brother Sherlock.
Other fascinating new programs include the workplace comedy series Blockbuster, the gothic drama The Wonder starring Florence Pugh, and the mystery thriller series 1899 from the producers of the critically successful Netflix series Dark.
