In The Guardians Holiday Special, Disney+ Unveils The Ten Most Important Characters

In a new video showcasing Disney+’s November titles, the debut of two new Marvel Studios: Legends episodes hinted that two Most Important Characters Guardians of the Galaxy will receive special attention in the upcoming Holiday Special.

James Gunn and Marvel are ready to spread holiday cheer throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe with The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. Peter Quill will be able to spend Christmas for the first time in a very long time when Star-Lord, Drax, Mantis, and the rest of the gang visit Earth after Avengers: Endgame.

The Special Presentation will follow Rocket, Nebula, and the rest of the crew as they come up with a plan to cheer up a Star-Lord who is having winter blues. It will premiere at the end of November.

The most recent trailer for the short film included all of the current Guardians, but a new Disney+ advertisement seems to have revealed who the major protagonists in this roughly 50-minute presentation will be.

More Marvel Studios: Legends Episodes Incoming

Each piece of material that will be accessible in November is listed in a new Disney+ video that was just released. The Marvel Studios: Legends MCU recap series now has two new episodes. The Drax and Mantis-focused extra episodes, which will air two days before The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, will debut on November 23.

Given that the two seem to be the focus of the special, this naturally makes some sense. Mantis and Drax, who were prominently featured in the trailer, are the only two characters represented on the teaser poster. So it makes sense that Marvel would want to familiarise the audience before the special airs.

Drax and Mantis will undoubtedly occupy a sizable chunk of the Holiday Special’s running time. It makes sense given the chemistry between the two characters that have been seen in previous films.

What about Peter Quill, Kraglin, Rocket, Groot, Nebula, and the rest of the team? They’ll likely spend a lot of time in front of screens as well, which is probably a safe assumption. While Mantis and Drax travel to Earth in search of Kevin Bacon, Quill’s hero, the rest of the crew seems to stay on Knowhere and possibly prepare for Peter’s lavish Christmas party.

The Guardians of the Galaxy appear to be taking viewers on a fun and emotional journey throughout the special. It’ll probably serve as a solid introduction to Guardians 3, which is anticipated to have a much darker and more mature tone.

Disney+ will release The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special from Marvel Studios on Friday, November 25.

The Ten Best Characters, Ranked By Power

Drax the Destroyer

In addition to his durability and strength as an extraterrestrial, Drax’s power stems from his intense desire to exact revenge on Thanos for killing his family. Drax’s tremendous desire to avenge himself has led him to make some poor choices, such as charging at Thanos and being instantly transformed into cubes when they discovered him on Knowhere, but it has also given him the willpower to never give up seeking retribution.

Groot

Even though Groot isn’t the most talkative MCU character, he still has some quite potent powers and is a popular among fans. Groot can transform his limbs into extraordinarily strong vines that he can hurl his foes around like they weigh nothing.

Rocket Racoon

Due to his considerable cybernetic modifications, Rocket Racoon is remarkably strong while having the appearance of an ordinary Earth raccoon. Rocket’s brain cortex has been cybernetically upgraded, enabling him to communicate, plot prison escapes, control his many spaceships expertly, and wield any weapon that comes his way.

Ronan the Accuser

Ronan the Accuser is the most powerful Kree we have seen in the MCU (unless fans count Captain Marvel), a ferocious fanatic with a deep hatred for the Skrulls and the Nova Empire. He spent years looking for the Orb, the object that contained the Power Stone, for Thanos. Although Ronan is strong on his own, his betrayal of Thanos and use of the Power Stone are what really merit him a spot on this list.

Yondu Udonta

Yondu Udonta may not appear to be particularly powerful at first, but his complete command over the use of his arrow, known as a Yaka Arrow, firmly establishes him in our list of strong characters. Yondu uses his cybernetically implanted headgear and whistles to operate the Yaka Arrow, an incredibly rapid, armor-piercing, anti-gravity arrow.

Nebula

Nebula might have the most powerful cybernetics in the MCU; she is the sister of Gamora and the daughter of Thanos. Every time Nebula lost to Gamora in one of their training games, Thanos cybernetically improved her, making her incredibly strong despite the trauma this caused. Her cybernetics give her extraordinary strength, durability, speed, and agility, making her more strong than any other regular human being.

Gamora

Gamora, a second daughter of Thanos, is known as “the Fiercest Woman in the Galaxy” due to her alien physiology and biological upgrades. Gamora is incredibly powerful and can easily fling her foes across the battlefield.

With the noteworthy exception of being hurled down a cliff by Thanos, she can withstand severe injury with relative ease. Her bionic improvements include toxins-filtering livers, blood-borne nanomachines, and improved vision. She is one of the most powerful Guardians of the Galaxy thanks to all of this as well as her expert-level swordsmanship and combat abilities.

Mantis

Due to her empathic skills, Mantis is one of the strongest Guardians of the Galaxy. She has the capacity to completely influence as well as sense other people’s emotions.

She is nonetheless a capable fighter even though her combat skills are not as powerful as those of many of the other guardians. She becomes one of the guardians’ greatest threats when you combine this with her capacity to influence people’s emotions and put them to sleep.

Peter Quill/ Star-Lord

Star-Lord is unquestionably the most potent Guardian, even though Peter Quill isn’t as strong as he once was after the passing of his father or as strong as some of his Marvel comics variations.

Ego

In addition to being the strongest character in the Guardians of the Galaxy series, Ego is also one of the MCU’s most potent characters thus far. He is still quite powerful despite not exactly being the same as the comic book version.

He has been around for almost all of human history, making him an eternal Celestial. He has complete power over light and can use it to create humanoid bodies for himself as well as tentacle-like weaponry.
