Don’t Miss This Weekend’s Splatoon X Pokémon Splatfest!

It’s time for everyone to make their final decision. It’s almost time for the second Splatfest* for the SplatoonTM 3 game, and it’s going to be a big one!

But let’s stand back for a moment. Splatfests are unique in-game occasions in Splatoon 3; they are celebrations with elaborate floats, lively music, and difficult choices. difficult choices like this one: Which kind of Pokémon would you pick as your partner? Which is more like grass, fire, or water?

This event will take place from Friday, November 11 at 4 p.m. until Sunday, November 13 at 4 p.m. PT, so put your thinking caps on.

What Is A Splatfest, Then?

In Splatoon 3, Splatfests are unique, one-time events where players can support one of three causes. You’ll represent your team in Splatfest Battles after making your decision, where the objective is to ink as much of the stage as you can without getting splattered too frequently. After the Splatest, a final winning team will be announced, putting an end to the debate**!

Where Do I Select A Side?

To pick your fate, visit the small kiosk in Splatville after the game has begun. Because this Pokémon question is so difficult, follow your gut instinct. After all, once you make a decision, you can’t go back!

You receive an in-game t-shirt for the event after making your choice. This garment has a unique feature called Ability Doubler (true to its name, it doubles the effect of other gear abilities attached to this gear).

Oh, and for the Sneak Peek and Splatfest durations, you also receive something called a Conch Shell if you level up in your Catalog. These guys can be exchanged for some amusing small treats at the machine in the lobby. Redeem frequently and early! After all, they are useless for anything else.

What Else Does A Splatfest Change?

A lot of things do! These Splatfest Battle types—Open, Pro, and (midway through the event) Tricolor—will replace the standard ones in addition to the way Splatville appears and sounds. You can enter a match in “Open” with a group of pals. If you prefer to play alone, select “Pro” because the teams’ members will be chosen at random.

What Is The Tricolor Turf War Game?

The 2v4v2 matches in this mode are brand-new to Splatoon 3. Select the Tricolor mode in the Lobby when selecting a mode midway through the Splatfest. Tricolour matches are not always available, but they are the only chance to see them in the rotation.

The four-person team begins in the middle of the map and tries to hold off the two other attacking teams, who are theoretically cooperating in this mode but are still capable of splatting one other! The pressure is on the defenders to keep their territory, even if you still need to gain the greatest ground to win.

The opposing team, who is also the team currently leading the Splatfest, must guard something known as the Ultra Signal. A Sprinkler of Doom will be sent on the battlefield to spread ink all over if a member of the attacking teams touches the Ultra Signal for a long enough period. It’s equally intense as “Sprinkler of Doom.”

What Do You Get As A Splatfest Winner?

Of course, the victor has the right to brag! But if you’re searching for something more tangible, after the Splatfest, everyone who participated will receive Super Sea Snails. More will be awarded to the victor (obviously).

If you’re unsure of what to do with those, speak to Murch, who is a hangout outside the lobby. The quick version is that you can upgrade your equipment and acquire skills that better suit your needs by using Super Sea Snails.

Advanced Pro Tip

Want a secret insider tip? Talk to Murch at the Splatfest if you’re looking for ability chunks. Since the equipment is considerably less expensive to scrub off your Splatfest Tee than usual, you can scrub-a-dub much more and get a lot more ability chunks. Roll out the good portions!

Last Lines

Everyone needs to make their last choice. The second Splatfest for the game SplatoonTM 3 is almost here, and it will be a big deal. But let’s go back a bit.
