So far, Alan Shearer has chosen his Premier League names as his Team of the Season so far, which has caused a lot of noise. Arsenal has had a great start to the season. In their first 14 games, they have won 12 of them.
At the top of the table, they are five points ahead of Manchester City. But even though they were the best, only two players from Mikel Arteta’s team were picked for Shearer’s team. But Shearer has chosen Arteta to be his manager.
The city has sometimes looked unbeatable, but other times they have looked weak. Two City players are in the XI. Newcastle has been the season’s biggest surprise, and they are doing great under Eddie Howe.
The Toon have 30 points from 15 games, which puts them in third place. Even though it seems unlikely that they will win the league, they have a good chance of making the Champions League.
Shearer is a Newcastle legend, and five of the players in his team are from Howe’s squad. While he has only one player on his team who isn’t in the top four. See below for his best Premier League XI so far this season…

Interesting. Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, or Liverpool do not have any players in the lineup.
In Shearer’s squad, Lisandro Martinez, Phil Foden, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Harry Kane, and Ivan Toney are just a few of the players that have excelled this year but were left out.
The Premier League announced Shearer’s starting XI on Twitter, and his lineups have generated a lot of discussions. Because he included so many Newcastle players, some have even accused him of favoritism.

Only two Arsenal players present? That’s a scandal.
This is a joke, you’d think Newcastle was leading the league.
Poor Alan has developed a severe case of bias in judgment.
I acknowledge that that is his opinion, but it is a surprising one.
England’s top tier will resume on Boxing Day and Arsenal will be looking to fend off Man City and win their first Premier League title since 2004.
