Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams

Teenage Wednesday Addams is played by Jenna Ortega, who has been making a reputation for herself in the horror genre with standout performances in films like the upcoming 2022 Scream sequel and Ti West’s X. Wednesday, a new student at Nevermore Academy, is fifteen years old and “fearless, unapologetically clever.”

She has to deal with the challenges of adolescence in general, as well as those of teenage romance, while also taking it upon herself to look into the murders that have been afflicting the town that serves as the Nevermore campus’s home. Ortega also played the role of Ellie Alves in the Netflix drama series You.

Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams

Morticia Addams, Wednesday’s mom, and a Nevermore Academy alum are portrayed by Catherine Zeta-Jones. Although she will only appear twice in the entire eight-episode series, Zeta-Jones does a fantastic job of bringing the character’s “spooky splendor” to life.

She has also recently guest starred on Prodigal Son and will soon be seen in the upcoming Disney+ original film National Treasure: Edge of History.

Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams

Gomez Addams is Morticia’s loving spouse and the father of Wednesday. Wednesday’s father is, unbeknownst to her, linked to a deadly mystery afflicting the town of Jericho in Nevermore, though his secret is unlikely to remain hidden for long thanks to Wednesday’s investigative skills. Luis Guzmán, of Shameless, Narcos, and Punch Drunk Love fame, plays Gomez.
