Florida Georgia Line Break Up: Here Is The Actual Clarification Behind This?

Florida Georgia Line, or FGL, was formed in 2010 by Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, two singer-songwriters who have since amassed an army of devoted fans thanks to their songs “This Is How We Roll” and “Small Town.”

Over the years, Tyler and Brian fought on occasion, leading to fan speculation of a possible separation. FGL stated in the summer of 2022 that they would be pausing operations. By the 31st of August, 2022, they had played their final concert. Can you explain what took place?

Why Did Florida Georgia Line (FGL) Break Up?

One of the most publicised feuds amongst band members involved their radically different political beliefs. Opinions diverged during the 2020 U.S. presidential campaign. Tyler and his wife, Hayley, unfollowed Brian on Instagram — which eagle-eyed fans immediately took to be an ominous sign.

Following their final performance at the Minnesota State Fair on August 31, Tyler and Brian announced their intention to disband the band. For the time being, Tyler and Brian have not given any more information to the press.

Although The Tennessean reports that they have called it quits on making music together, they say that they have not yet determined what to do with their business activities. The FGL House is a four-story, 22,000-square-foot restaurant located in Nashville, Tennessee, not far from the Johnny Cash Museum.

However, the publication reports that no further plans for the establishment have been announced. Tyler is prepared to carry on as a solo artist in the music industry. He released his debut solo EP, titled “Dancin’ in the Country,” in August 2022.

There are five tracks on “Dancin’ in the Country,” and they are as follows: “Baby Gets Her Lovin,” “Everybody Needs a Bar,” “Inside and Out,” “I’m the Only One,” and “5 Foot 9.” Tyler has worked with a who’s who of the industry.

All three of the artists mentioned above—Keith Urban, Jon Nite, and Ross Copperman—have made contributions to the album. It has been confirmed that Tyler will be releasing a studio album, an even more intriguing venture.

The untitled work is set for release on January 27th, 2023. 2021 saw the release of “Sunshine State of Mind,” Brian’s debut solo effort. He just recently inked a deal with BMLG Records and dropped “American Spirit,” just in time for the July 4, 2022 celebrations.

What Have Fans Said About the Split?

Several followers of the band took to Twitter shortly after the news began to spread, venting their displeasure with the breakup. There was a fan who commented: “Wow, I didn’t know Florida Georgia Line had called it quits until now. Avoid sending and receiving texts.”

“It’s a disaster that Florida Georgia Line broke up,” said another. Even while their followers will surely be disappointed by the split, it is not the end of the road for either of them professionally. Variety reports that in 2019, Hubbard will release his first solo album and go on tour with Keith Urban and Ingrid Andress. During her Florida residency, Kelley will also premiere her solo songs.

How Many Albums Did Florida Georgia Line Release?

After the release of their debut album Here’s To the Good Times, which featured the hit singles “Cruise” and “This Is How We Roll” (both of which featured Luke Bryan), FGL quickly became a household name.
