David Dobrik and Liza Koshy, a YouTube pair have broken up in an emotional video posted online. In their video, they claim that they broke up six months ago but didn’t tell their followers until this week. In the six-minute video, David explains, “For the time being, it wasn’t good for us to stay together.

David said, “Liza broke up with me because she felt like we were distant since we were so busy. Some have compared David and Liza to the Posh and Becks of YouTube. However, according to Tassilo Labuzinski, the founder of the branding firm Socially Powerful, their divorce should not significantly affect either their current or future financial situations.
According to Tassilo, “I don’t see the break-up being a negative thing for either of them.” To argue that they are the Posh and Becks of the internet and that they only exist as a bundle, in my opinion, is simplistic. Additionally, he thinks that fans of the couple’s “quick, sharp, tongue-in-cheek” humor would be understanding if they reconciled.
He continues, “The pair is allowed to take it any way they want. It would garner more attention if they released a second video saying, “Look, we’ve truly realized we love each other too much and we want to be together. “I don’t believe there will be any kind of negative repercussion against them,”
