I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here grand !’s prize winner is Jill Scott. I Must Evacuate This Building Right Now! The 35-year-old former England player won the title of “Queen of the Jungle” in 2022 on Sunday night’s event, besting competitors Matt Hancock and Owen Warner.
Scott, upon hearing the news, expressed his disbelief to the show’s hosts Anthony Mcpartlin and Declan Donnelly. After her 12 million votes, I’m pretty sure I’m going to owe my grandma a pretty penny.
Since we were all part of the same unit, I don’t think there should be a single victor. Third-place finisher Hancock, 44, left the jungle first, followed by second-place finisher Warner, 23 (who plays Luke in Hollyoaks).

After leaving the event, the former health secretary addressed the controversy surrounding his participation, saying, “I know that it was contentious me coming here, I know some people said individuals in your position shouldn’t put themselves in embarrassing circumstances.”
However, “we put ourselves in it” since we are all human. “I just went in completely clear that I was going to be totally myself as if their cameras weren’t on and that’s what I did,” he continued. Well, that’s me when no one’s looking!
In June of last year, Hancock resigned as health secretary after his fiancée and former aide, Gina Coladangelo, revealed CCTV footage of him kissing and breaking coronavirus social distancing guidelines.
As the series culminated, viewers also witnessed the three finalists compete in their last Bushtucker Trials for a chance to win a starter, main dinner, and dessert of their choosing, as well as drinks and goodies.
Scott took on the first challenge, Rat Race, and the celebs got to watch each other try to finish it. Warner was up next to try his hand at Bushtucker Bonanza. He and his other campers were rewarded with a hearty meal because Warner had the stomach for five unusual foods, including a fermented duck egg and camel’s testicles.
During the last test, titled “Flood Your Face,” Hancock put himself in the position of the Member of Parliament for West Suffolk by placing his head in a water tank and breathing through a snorkel for five minutes. For every minute he held out, Hancock earned a star and the option to buy whatever sweets his other campers wanted.
During the testing, Hancock stayed in the tank as eels, yabbies, and water spiders were put to the area around his face. Hancock had garlic prawns to start, then steak and chips with a mozzarella salad on the side, while the other two received their own custom three-course meals after earning all the available stars.

In the end, he settled for apple pie with salted caramel ice cream and a glass of red wine with blue cheese and crackers. Warner, who has admitted to feeling hungry throughout the competition, ordered calamari as an appetizer and a quadruple stack beef burger with cheese, bacon, and chips for his main course.
After that, we were served American-style pancakes, crispy bacon, maple syrup, and a Coca-Cola, followed by a pizza-sized cookie dough dessert. Scott started off with a prawn cocktail, moved on to a beef Sunday dinner complete with gravy and Yorkshire pudding, and finished with a cheese board. She drank Coca-Cola and snacked on a flat white and milk chocolate bar.
