Ginny & Georgia Season 2, which will have ten episodes and premiere on Netflix on January 5, 2023, has released a first peek.
How do you manage the fact that your mother has committed murder? In the second season of the young adult series, Ginny will need to realize that.

Ginny is now burdened with the knowledge that her stepfather Kenny didn’t pass away naturally. She also has to live with the reality that Georgia not only killed but also killed to protect Ginny.
On the other hand, Georgia would much rather put the past behind her because she has a wedding to organize. But the irony of Georgia’s history is that it never truly disappears from view.

Brianne Howey, Antonia Gentry, Diesel La Torraca, and Jennifer Robertson are the cast members of Sarah Lampert’s comedy series Ginny & Georgia.
Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Scott Porter, Raymond Ablack, Chelsea Clark, and Katie Douglas are also featured in the cast.

The show’s executive producers include Sarah Lampert, Jeff Tahler, Jenny Daly, Holly Hines, Daniel March, Lance Samuels, Daniel Iron, and Armand Leo. Debra J. Fisher (Alias, Criminal Minds, Being Mary Jane) is the showrunner.
In the first 28 days of release, the first season was watched by more than 52 million member households. The series reached the top 10 in 87 nations and peaked at number one in 46 of them, including the United States, Australia, Brazil, and Kenya.

Ginny & Georgia’s first season debuted on Netflix on February 24, 2021, and explored a nuanced and complex mother-daughter relationship and layered female friendships, sexual exploration, and growing up at all ages.
Debra J. Fisher, the show’s executive producer, and Sarah Lampert, the show’s creator and executive producer, expressed their gratitude for the fantastic reception and love that Ginny & Georgia have received from all of you. “Brianne and Toni, who set the bar high at every turn, deserve special thanks. For Season 2, we can’t wait to get back to Wellsburg.

In the first season, awkward and angsty 15-year-old Ginny Miller (Gentry) frequently feels inferior to her attractive and charismatic 30-year-old mother, Georgia Miller.
Georgia, who has spent her entire life moving around, is desperate to establish her family’s roots in picturesque New England and provide them with something they’ve never had—an everyday life. However, it’s not all Kombucha and carpools because Georgia’s past follows them and jeopardizes her and her family’s new beginning.

Jeff Tahler (Madica Productions), Jenny Daly (Critical Content), Holly Hines, and Daniel March are executive producers.
Elena Blekhter serves as a co-executive producer. Toronto, Canada, is the location for the Netflix series filming.

In the promotional images for Season 2, released on December 1, it is easy to see that Ginny has returned to her old neighborhood. There are multiple pictures of her back at school, including one where she and her crush Marcus (Felix Mallard), are leaning up against a row of lockers. Another picture shows Ginny in class with her best friend, Max.
The good news is that Ginny’s younger brother Austin (Diesel La Torraca), who rode off on a motorcycle with her at the end of season one, is also back. In one photo, his mother, Georgia, wraps him in a scarf as they stare at an unknown person in the background.
Final Lines
On January 5, the second season of the addictive Netflix show will finally start. The first season came out almost two years ago.
The last time viewers saw Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and Georgia (Brianne Howey), Ginny had left town after learning that her mother, Georgia, had poisoned her stepfather Kenny (Darryl Scheelar) because he had abused Ginny when she was 15 years old.
