Disney just put out the first trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and from what we can tell, Marvel Studios is in for another great year.
In the teaser, Gamora (Zoe Saldana) comes back and Adam Warlock (Will Poulter) makes his first live-action appearance. Everything looks like a lot of fun, and there might even be some sad parts.
Lylla, who is Rocket Raccoon’s soulmate in the comics, will also be in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and the teaser gives us our first look at her. You may be wondering what song director James Gunn used in the teaser trailer, in addition to all the treats and Easter eggs you see in it. Don’t worry, the cool people at ComicBook.com will take care of you.
What is the Song in the New Guardians of the Galaxy Trailer?
“In the Meantime” by Spacehog is the name of the song that you hear in the trailer. Spacehog’s self-titled album came out in 1994 and had the song “In the Meantime” on it. Gunn is very picky about the music he uses in his projects, so you can be sure that it will be in the movie.

What’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 About?
Marvel Studios says the following about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3: “Peter Quill is still upset about losing Gamora, so he has to get his team together to protect the universe and one of their own. A mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians”

What Will Director James Gunn Do Next?
Gunn and Peter Safran started their jobs as Co-CEOs of DC Studios at the beginning of the month, and it’s safe to say that the future of DC is looking good. When the two were named by the new head of Warner Bros. Discovery, they put out a statement about how excited they were about the job. “We’re honoured to be the stewards of these DC characters we’ve loved since we were children,” Gunn and Safran added in a joint statement.
“We look forward to collaborating with the most talented writers, directors, and actors in the world to create an integrated, multilayered universe that still allows for the individual expression of the artists involved. Our commitment to Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Harley Quinn, and the rest of the DC stable of characters is only equaled by our commitment to the wonder of human possibility these characters represent. We’re excited to invigorate the theatrical experience around the world as we tell some of the biggest, most beautiful, and grandest stories ever told.”
The most recent DC movie to come out was Black Adam, which starred Dwayne Johnson. Black Adam will star Johnson and will also feature Aldis Hodge (Underground, The Invisible Man) as Hawkman, Noah Centineo (To All the Boys I Love Before, Angels) Charlie’s as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell (Trinkets, Euphoria) as Cyclone, Sarah Shahi (The L Word, Sex/Life) as Adrianna Tomaz, and Pierce Brosnan (GoldenEye, Mamma Mia!) as Doctor Fate. Also cast are Uli Latukefu, Marwan Kenzari, Mohammed Amer, James Cusati-Moyer, and Bodhi Sabongui.
