Christina and Tarek got a divorce because of money problems. They married while they were both young (Christina was 22, and Tarek was 24). After several months of marriage counseling, Tarek filed for divorce due to irreconcilable differences.
Tarek said on an episode of The Dr. Drew Podcast that the couple split up because of money problems, TV work, and other factors that the public was kept in the dark about. What he actually stated was: TV, fame, money, and everything else that’s going on at once drove us apart.
Christina’s parents were opposed to her breaking up with Tarek, so she and he hid their choice for a while. They finally decided to end things, but they had been growing apart for some time. In an interview with People, she said: There was a lot of stress between Tarek and me. The lines of communication had become completely severed. To the point that we stopped riding in the same cars to set.

When Did the Flip or Flop Stars Split?
Few people know this, but Christina and Tarek split up in 2016. Since their divorce was finalized in July 2021, she has remarried, this time to Ant Anstead. They were married from 2009 until 2018 when she met Ant, proposed to him, and then divorced. And she sought shared parental responsibility for the kids, too.

Who Are They Dating Now?
After dating for six months, Christina and Josh Hall recently got engaged. On July 8th, 2021, they announced their romance on Instagram, while rumors of their dating had been circulating for a while prior.
Josh relocated to Southern California, to the same city where the HGTV star had spent her childhood, to be with her. However, Tarek is now married to Heather Rae El Moussa, who starred in Selling Sunset.
It appears that Tarek and Heather have been dating for almost two years; they met in July of this year. In August of this year, they went public with their romance on Instagram.
