Hyland debuted the song on Friday via her social media. She has previously dabbled in the music business with Boyce Avenue for covers of “Don’t Wanna Know” by Maroon 5 and “Closer” by the Chainsmokers and Halsey. However, viewers of the live broadcast over the weekend wondered on Twitter if Hyland was expecting a child because it seemed that way while she was wearing a brilliantly vivid pink dress.

Hyland stated in an interview with SELF magazine last year that her kidney problem is why her lower stomach sticks out so much. Hyland was born with renal dysplasia, which prevented her kidneys from developing typically in the womb and led to cysts in her kidneys. These cysts frequently prevent the kidneys from doing their job of removing waste from your blood.
After her second kidney transplant recovery, she underwent a laparoscopic procedure to treat her endometriosis and a hernia repair in 2018. In a video interview with the magazine, Hyland reveals that among her 16 surgeries over 27 years, the first transplant saw the kidney removed using a technique that “sort of looks like either a Samurai sword attack or a shark bite.”
She said on the video, “They put in the front and it stands out.” “I refer to it as my “KUPA,” or kidney upper p—y area. Always have, always will.” “Oh my my, it’s such a bittersweet time. I have a new life, but being an actor and being put on this pedestal of how you should appear, “She said. “Sometimes while getting fitted, I completely lose it. as in, “KUPA will reveal.” You can’t conceal it. Even though dealing with health-related ups and downs is something no one can ever truly get over, no matter how well they feel healed, Hyland acknowledges that it is “still mentally” taxing and “hard to get over.” But, she continued, “I think personally that having a stomach that resembles the New Jersey Turnpike for someone so small reflects who I am and what type of character I have.
