Elizabeth Banks is most known for her appearances on Modern Family and 30 Rock, for which she has been nominated for three Emmy Awards. She is also an actor, producer, writer, and director.
She has, however, established herself as a dependable big-screen performer in films like The Hunger Games, Love & Mercy, W., and the Pitch Perfect series. Brownstone Productions created the latter, a business Elizabeth Banks and her husband, Max Handelman, formed in 2002.

It is the highest-grossing musical comedy film of all time, earning $287 million at the global box office. Additionally, it represents the second-largest debut for a female director and the biggest opening for a first-time feature film director.
It should be no surprise that Pitch Perfect 3, the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Pitch Perfect 2, is the second-highest-grossing musical comedy of all time with $185 million worldwide.
Despite her record-breaking box office performance, Banks believes that her marriage to her husband is her most outstanding achievement.
“It’s the thing I’m most proud of,” she said. “I do think people grow together or they grow apart. We grew together. We were constantly making decisions that kept us close.”
But Banks and Handelman aren’t savoring their success with Pitch Perfect. Brownstone Productions has a diverse range of projects on the go with Bruce Willis, Elizabeth Banks, and James Marsden in Walk of Shame. They also acted as executive producers on the acclaimed TV series Shrill, starring Aidy Bryant.
Elizabeth Banks Directed 2 Major Hollywood Movies
A few notable reboots have recently been created by Brownstone, the first of which is the 2019 film Charlie Angels, which Banks co-wrote and directed. The TV game show Press Your Luck, which Brownstone made into a more well-liked prime-time program, came next.
The current iteration of the daytime program is in the middle of its fourth season, unlike the first, which ran for three seasons until 1986. The inclusion of the vibrant and upbeat Elizabeth Banks as a presenter is undoubtedly one of the reasons the revival is succeeding so well.

Naturally, Handelman collaborates on all of the projects as a producer. The young children of the marriage can also be regarded as team members. Banks made it clear during the filming of Charlie’s Angels that she has a very open policy about parenting on her set and believes it is acceptable to bring one’s children to work, in a sense, at least in the case of The Invisible Woman.
“We should have whole lives – I don’t need to separate my work from my kids as much as I used to. There’s an old stigma about that,” Banks insisted. “For me, I throw all the rules out and invite my kids into my work life because I want to be with my kids, and I want to do great work.”
So it appears that Banks and Handelman have made many wise choices over their three decades of marriage, leading to a healthy family, successful careers, and a life in which they spend every day with their favorite people: each other.
“We have always dreamed about our life together. And we work together every day, and we have a lot of respect for each other on every level, says Banks. And then there’s love. And then there’s lust. So it’s great.”
