Marjorie Taylor Green divorce: Her, a notorious Georgia Republican congresswoman, filed for divorce on Wednesday, claiming their union is “irretrievably broken.” Perry Greene, who wed the fiery politician, petitioned for divorce in Floyd County’s Georgia Superior Court. According to court documents, Greene and his wife, 48, had already divorced.
According to court records, Greene requested that the divorce proceedings be sealed in his initial filing “because the parties’ enormous private interest in sealing the records outweighs the public’s minuscule interest in access to the materials.”
“According to that document, “sensitive personal and financial information” will probably be made public throughout the case, “which would adversely affect the parties’ privacy interests.” Greene submitted a motion to withdraw his request for the sealing on Monday.

According to court records, the pair wed in 1995 while both were students at the University of Georgia. In a statement provided to Fox News, she declared, “I am a great believer in marriage. It is a lovely thing. “A husband and wife building a family to care and protect are how our society is developed.
Perry and I established our family together and brought up three wonderful children. He assigned me the highest-paying position a person can hold: mom. He is a wonderful father to our kids, and I will always be grateful for that.”
