Jin’s Entry Into the Military and Emotional Goodbye

Kim Seokjin cared to brighten his followers’ faces despite their misery, as is his wont.

Jin posted a selfie on Weverse a few days before enlisting in the military, showcasing his gorgeous buzzcut and writing, “cuter than I imagined.”

The fans’ last straw came when the Moon crooner shared an emotional goodbye and wrote: “Now, it’s curtain call time.”

There were tears after that!

Jin left for boot camp on December 13 to start his required military service.

Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook made sure to enlist and send off their eldest to the military, acting like a genuine band of brothers.

When Will Jin Come Back From the Military?

Earlier this month, BTS’ label shared an official statement regarding Jin’s enlistment: “Jin will fulfill his required time with the military by enlisting in the Army. Please note that we will not be holding any official event on the day of his recruitment.”

“The entrance ceremony is a time to be observed by military personnel and their families only,” it continued.

Now, everyone is wondering the same thing: when will Jin return from the military? Although the length of military service in South Korea varies, all soldiers must sign up for at least 18 months of active duty. According to reports, the icon will reappear in June 2024.
