Cindy Crawford was born on February 20, 1966 in DeKalb, Illinois. Her full name is Cynthia Ann Crawford. She grew up with her two sisters, Chris and Danielle, and her mother, Jennifer, who worked as a bank teller. Her father, Dan, was an electrician. Cindy also had a brother named Jeffrey. When he was only three years old, Jeffrey died of leukaemia.
Crawford went to DeKalb High School, and during her junior year, she was in a fashion shoot for a nearby store.
