The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA showed 0.36% and the S&P 500 Index was at SPX 0.61% on Monday’s closing. The third quarter’s earning results are about to get out this week, which includes Facebook Inc. once the session ends.

S&P 500 Makes new Record on Monday
The Dow went up by 64 points or 0.2% at a high of 35,741.15 which is greater than what it was on Friday, making it an all-time high.
Meanwhile, on Monday, S&P 500 was at 0.5% or 4,566.48 which was its new all-time high intraday record. Whereas NASDAQ Composite Index COMP outperformed, it gained 0.9%. There are more than 150 companies on S&P 500 that are bullish in the market.
That means a third of the market index is bullish, reporting their quarterly results this week. The experts and investors are expecting Feds to release its new policy regarding the reduction of $120B of monthly emergency purchase of securities backed by mortgage and Treasury, as they think that the U.S economy is slowly getting on track. Whereas it also plans to tighten up the monetary policy.
