Brook, a career criminal, has an extensive criminal record with over two dozen arrests spreading over Georgia, Wisconsin, and Nevada.
In an extensive slammed move, a junior Milwaukee prosecutor demanded $1,000 cash bail following he was criticized for reportedly trampling down his ex-girlfriend with his SUV, which left a scar of tire on her left leg.
On 5th November, Brook’s mother posted her son’s bail and after 16 days, reportedly he used the same car to execute the terrible attack on holiday celebrants.
John Chisholm who is the Attorney of Milwaukee District described the bail as “inappropriately low” and initiated an internal investigation about the decision.
Woods wrote, “We as a society must take mental illness seriously by fixing a broken system or suffer the consequences, sad as it is to say what happened in Waukesha will keep happening all over this country, in one form or another with more innocent lives lost and grieving families and communities.”
Dawn Woods gave her condolences to those who became the victim of the miserable event as well as the Waukesha community.
The letter notes “What was meant to be a joyous day became a day of tragedy and heartache — a day that we wish with all our heart would have never happened,” she further continued that Brooks belongs from a “loving Christian family” and is the grandson of ministers.
