Rey Mysterio, a former world champion recently met with Triple H in a backstage segment to announce that he wants to leave the WWE. Throughout the years, Triple H has made cameo appearances in minor capacities on WWE programming. On the most recent edition of RAW, he was seen by the cameras during a backstage segment.
The Game and the rest of D-Generation X finished out the program to commemorate 25 years since their WWE debut. In the meanwhile, Mysterio has been taking it from Judgment Day. Even worse is the fact that his own son, Dominik Mysterio, betrayed him and is now a complicit party in the beatings. The legendary figure has steadfastly refused to hit his kid.
Backstage, Mysterio would have a meeting with Triple H and tell him that he had had it with WWE. The Supreme Monarch was shocked. He was sympathetic to the legend’s predicament and invited him to spend some time in his office with him to brainstorm a solution.
Despite the unexpected nature of the segment, the future of the former world champion is still uncertain. A few weeks earlier during Clash at the Castle, Dominik betrayed his father and Edge by joining The Judgment Day with Rhea Ripley, Finn Balor, and Damian Priest.
SmackDown General Manager Triple H has successfully signed Rey Mysterio to a contract.
