After a protracted absence, a new Rihanna single is finally available. The world icon contributed a sad song to the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, so no, we’re not dancing. Thank you, Disney and Marvel Studios.
The lead song from the soundtrack, “Lift Me Up,” was inspired by the incredible life and legacy of the late Chadwick Boseman who played T’Challa in the movie Black Panther Terms, Oscar winner Ludwig Göransson, Rihanna, and Ryan Coogler collaborated to write the heartfelt homage.

Wakanda Forever: Music from and Inspired by The Black Panther the album’s soundtrack includes two brand-new Rihanna singles, both of which will be released on November 4 by Roc Nation Records, Def Jam Recordings, and Hollywood Records.
Producing the movie are Dave Jordan, Archie Davis, Ludwig Göransson, and Ryan Coogler. Hollywood Records will release Ludwig Göransson’s Ludwig Göransson’s The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – Original Score on November 11.
On November 11th, 2022, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will have its theatrical debut.
