The program must continue! The Emmy and Peabody Award-winning program “The Daily Show,” which is in its final week with Trevor Noah, unveiled its hilarious roster of A-list comics who will continue the show’s tradition by providing more satirical news about worldwide and American political issues. Continue reading to find out who will support the show in the upcoming weeks.
Who Forms A Part Of The Lineup?
Even though Trevor Noah is no longer hosting “The Daily Show,” the jokes will still be told. After Trevor Noah leaves this week, the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning program has announced a hilarious lineup of A-list guests who will step in.
On Tuesday (December 6), Chris McCarthy, president and CEO of Paramount Media Networks, released a statement along with the lineup of some of the funniest comedians. As Trevor’s final week approaches, he remarked, “We want to appreciate him for his numerous contributions.”
He stated, “Trevor redefined the show, just as Jon Stewart had done before him, and as we look to the future, we are eager to reimagine it once more with the help of this great list of talent and correspondents along with the highly skilled ‘Daily Show’ team.”
A week at a time, the show will be hosted by comedians including Wanda Sykes, Marlon Wayans, Al Franken, Chelsea Handler, D. L. Hughley, Leslie Jones, John Leguizamo, Hasan Minhaj, and Kal Penn from the much-anticipated list.
Thursday will be Noah’s last day (December 8). The program’s new season is expected to premiere on Comedy Central on January 17, 2023, at 11 p.m.
Why Did Trevor Noah Leave The Show?
Even though these outstanding comedians showcase comedy’s best qualities, Trevor Noah remains invincible. He gave us some genuine pain in the jaw and, in my opinion, transformed “The Daily Show.”
Regarding his exit, Trevor Noah declared in September that he would be quitting “The Daily Show” because he felt it was time to venture into uncharted territory. The 38-year-old reassured viewers that he would stay on until a new host was introduced.
During his interview on “The Tonight Show,” Trevor looked inside at why he decided to leave the fan-favorite program that helped him from the ground up.
When Jimmy Fallon questioned Trevor about the unexpected finding, he said that while he understood the concerns of his followers, he believed that everyone has gone through a moment of reflecting on their lives.

“Every single person, you know. For two years, we lived in our apartments. Yes, the world has changed. We all wept at the same time.” He said to Jimmy, “I believe that if you don’t look at your life and consider what you’d like to do differently, then you haven’t experienced what we’ve all experienced.”
In any case, Trevor wants to expand his horizons and experience new things. When asked about his choice to leave “The Daily Show,” Trevor Noah replied, “I think of this as a joyful thing. I experienced a weird period. People felt gracious enough to share it with me after I had shared it with them.”
Regarding “The Daily Show,” the production crew declared that it might be willing to add more anchors. The show is still seeking a replacement, and the new employee will begin in the fall of 2023. What about you? I am looking forward to watching Chelsea Handler.
Final Lines
This week on The Daily Show, Trevor Noah will have his last laugh, but it looks like the fun will go on with a long list of guest hosts. The Daily Show will use a rotating group of celebrity guests as hosts until 2023 when it looks for a new host.
