“Dr. Love” Fake Teen Doctor Who is Now 25 Was Sent to Prison for a New Scam

A person with a history of stealing is going back to prison after pleading guilty to stealing more than $10,000 from his employer. When he was a teenager, he became famous all over the country when he pretended to be a doctor to scam a patient.

According to court documents, Robinson worked as a salesperson in 2020 for a company that put shippers in touch with trucking companies. Instead of having customers pay the company, Love-Robinson had them send the money to accounts he controlled.

Love-Robinson first got national attention in 2016 when he was arrested after opening The New Birth New Life Medical Center and calling himself “Dr. Love.” At that time, he was only 18 years old.

During house calls, he stole $30,000 from a woman in her 80s and $20,000 from a doctor. He was arrested after he checked out and gave medicine to a police officer who was pretending to be a patient.

Later that year, Love-Robinson was out on bail when he was caught in Virginia trying to buy a Jaguar car with a stolen credit card. He entered guilty pleas in both cases, and he was finally freed from jail in 2019.
