Juwan Johnson, a wide receiver with the New Orleans Saints, and his wife Chanen are expecting their first child.
The pair, who have shared their infertility issues on their joint TikTok channel, revealed the fantastic news on Monday after making hints about it over the previous few weeks.
The couple then shared more images from the maternity shoot, showing Chanen and Juwan holding a small pair of sneakers while Chanen is dressed in a white silk maxi dress and Juwan is in a button-down shirt and dress pants.

Chanen posted a video announcing their exciting news on Instagram captioned, “you’re our dream come true👼🏽🤍 #juandchan.” She followed it up with a video showing the moment she found she was pregnant and a few follow up videos and snaps.
Many of the couple’s fans left well wishes and words of excitement in the comments. “SO SO HAPPY FOR YOU BOTH! Congrats on growing your family 🤍❤️,” said Olympic gold medalist Kyla Ross. A fan added, “I’m going to cry over 2 complete strangers on the internet I’ve never met!!! Lmao. I’ve been following your journey here and on TikTok for a while now and your journey to this point, I honestly couldn’t be happier for you guys!!! You deserve this so much!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏.”
A video posted on their TikTok page and Chanen’s Instagram on December 1 told the couple’s fertility story. “Doctors finally give us the green light to start trying to get pregnant,” the beginning of the video reads. “We got pregnant. Bestie sits in bathroom with me while I’m vomiting from being in shock from a traumatizing miscarriage where I had to ‘flush it.'”
The next part in the video shows the couple dancing in a club “pretending like we’re ok when we’re not.” The video continues with, “Gets pregnant with our rainbow baby.” Then she shows her crying with the words, “Has a second miscarriage on an airplane.”
The 26-year-old couple started dating after meeting while Penn State undergraduates and were married in February 2020. Chanen has disclosed that she was informed she wouldn’t be able to have children after overcoming an eating disorder in college that prevented her menstrual cycles for five years. But after they were both healthy, the couple decided to try for a child.

Chanen Johnson Has Been Open On Social Media About Her Fertility Journey
On social media, Chanen has informed her followers about their quest for fertility. When they were traveling, she tweeted a video in November with the comment,“If only we knew what 2022 would hold… stronger than ever 🤍” Many fans entered the comment area to express supportive messages and send their love to the couple.
About a week ago, she posted a video captioned, “My Christmas wish” that shows her wrapping up a baby gift with the words written over the video, “I heard that if you wrap a baby gift under the tree you’ll have a baby by next Christmas.” She announced their happy news only a week after this video was shared.
The couple’s struggle to conceive, emphasized by them in a TikTok video shared early last month, is already well known to the couple’s fans. We witness footage of the pair enjoying themselves while driving in an open Jeep after “doctors finally give us the green light to start trying to get pregnant.” as Chanen reflected on their year together, which included them trying to start a baby.
