One of the emerging talents in the world of mixed martial arts (MMA), Victoria Lee tragically passed away on December 26, 2022, at the young age of 18. She was the ONE Championship’s youngest competitor to ever compete. The combat sports community was startled by her passing, and her admirers are in sorrow. On social media, her family provided confirmation of the same. But what was Victoria Lee’s cause of death?
Victoria Lee Cause of Death
Following the announcement of Victoria Lee’s death, anti-vaccination advocates began claiming on social media that The Prodigy died as a result of COVID-19 vaccine sudden adult syndrome (SADS). It is now common for anti-vaccination campaigners to blame athlete deaths on the COVID-19 vaccine.
Victoria’s sister Angela Lee said on Instagram on January 7, 2023, following the publication of Victoria’s obituary by the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park in Kaneohe, Hawaii, that “On December 26, 2022, our family experienced something no family should ever have to go through…It is incredibly difficult to say this… Our Victoria passed away.”
Angela did not disclose the cause of her sister’s death. Many people believe Victoria committed suicide after she asked everyone to check on their loved ones and remind them how much they meant to them in her message. Victoria Lee’s official cause of death is unknown at this time.

She then beat Luping Wang and Victoria Souza and won again that year. Both of those fights went to the finish, but she hadn’t fought since ONE: Revolution in September 2021. Given her past and her early success, many people thought she would go on to do big things.
Lee did well as an amateur before she became a professional MMA fighter. She won two Hawaiian pankration junior world championships, the Hawaii state wrestling championship, and an IMMAF junior world championship.

Victoria Lee Comes From a Family of Fighters
A Singaporean Chinese father named Ken Lee and a South Korean-born Canadian mother named Jewelz Lee gave birth to Victoria Sun-hei Lee on May 17, 2004, in Wahiawa, Hawaii. Both her mother and father have a very long history of training in martial arts. They even opened a number of gyms.
Victoria comes from a fighting family. Her siblings are martial artists as well, as was previously noted regarding how her parents were in the martial arts industry. One of the youngest MMA world champions, her sister Angela became the One women’s world champion in 2016.
Christian, her brother, debuted in 2015 at the age of 17. Four years later, he was crowned the One Lightweight World Champion. Adrian Lee, their younger brother, competes in amateur mixed martial arts.
On September 30, Victoria, then 16 years old, agreed to a deal with One Championship’s Atomweight division. She did, however, make her debut the following year on February 26 and advanced over Sunisa Srisan. He has only appeared in three matches during her brief career.
The adolescent put her professional career on hold to concentrate on her academics. She said that she would concentrate on MMA after graduating from high school in May of last year, and on January 14 in Bangkok, she was scheduled to face Indian fighter Zeba Bano in her fourth MMA match.
