On his Twitter page, Andrew Tate shared an article that said he and his brother were taken to the hospital on Sunday while they were in a Romanian jail.
Since Tate is in jail, it wasn’t clear who made the post. Even though the story said Tate was “attacked,” Romanian media showed a less dramatic truth.
Tate’s post included a link to a story from the Romanian news site Spy News that said one of the brothers had been sent to the hospital after a routine checkup in prison. It didn’t say if it was Andrew or his older brother Tristan.
Spy News then cited a story from the Romanian CNN affiliate Antena 3, in which reporter Carmina Pricopie said that the brother was sent to a hospital expert after his medical exam.

The tweet said, “The Matrix has attacked me.” “But they misunderstand, you cannot kill an idea. Hard to Kill.” There was nothing in the Romanian reporting to back up the claim that someone tried to hurt Tate.
Tate’s account has made a lot of references to the “Matrix” movies and vague claims that the investigation is a plot against him. Tate hasn’t said anything directly about the accusations of human trafficking.
His lawyer told the Romanian news site Gandul that the only evidence was what the victims said, but he didn’t go as far as to say Tate was innocent.

The brothers were arrested on December 29, 2022, as part of an investigation into human trafficking. Two women were also arrested at the same time.
According to a statement seen by Insider, the group is accused of using women to make porn for their online business. The statement says that Tate used the “loverboy method” to recruit women.

Tate and the other people were held for 24 hours at first, but a court in Romania made that 30 days. Several of Tate’s and his brother’s cars and properties have been taken by the police while the investigation is going on.
