The rainbow child of Chrissy Teigen and John Legend has arrived. The “Chrissy’s Court” star gave birth on Friday, January 13 there are now five members of the Legend family.
The 12-time Grammy Award winner shared the exciting news at a private concert that night, just hours after his child was born. The singer told the crowd that he and Teigen had “the little baby this morning.”
Even though he didn’t get “a lot of sleep,” Legend said that after spending “a lot of time” at the hospital, he “feels energized.” People who were there say that he then said, “What a blessed day.”
Teigen, who is 37, and Legend, who is 43, also have a 6-year-old daughter named Luna and a 4-year-old son named Miles. Their children were born in April 2016 and May 2018, respectively.

In August 2020, the author of the “Cravings” cookbook told the world that she was expecting her third child. She showed off her baby bump in the “Wild” music video by the EGOT winner.
The next month, Teigen lost her pregnancy because her placenta broke in half. At the time, the former co-host of “Lip Sync Battle” posted photos of herself and her late son Jack in the hospital.
Teigen defended the social media post in an essay she wrote for Medium in October 2020. She said that criticism “didn’t matter” to her.
The former “Bring the Funny” judge said at the time, “I knew I needed to remember this moment forever, just like I needed to remember us kissing at the end of the aisle and our tears of joy after Luna and Miles.”

Legend supported Teigen’s choice over her November 2020 “Good Morning America” performance, explaining, “I didn’t want to commemorate this pain… [but the photos are] something to remember him by.”
The two kept talking about how sad they were and how they were going to try to get pregnant again. “I wanted to let you guys know I’m balls deep in another IVF cycle to save as many eggos as I possibly can and hopefully make some strong, healthy embryos,” the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model told her Instagram followers in February.

Teigen finished the process the next month, and in August she told everyone she was pregnant. “the last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again,” the then-expectant star captioned her baby bump debut.
“1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way,” she continued. “I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing.”
