It has come to light that Lisa Marie Presley did not die from the first heart attack she had. The star’s heart stopped beating again while she was in the hospital, and TMZ said that her family told doctors not to try to save her.
The “Do Not Resuscitate” order was given because Lisa-Marie had already been ruled brain dead, the article said. Craig Little, a spokesman for the county’s fire department, said that paramedics were sent to Lisa-Calabasas Marie’s home at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, local time, after a report of a woman in full cardiac arrest.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said that paramedics gave Lisa-Marie CPR and saw “signs of life” before taking her right away to a hospital in nearby West Hills. After her housekeeper found the star unresponsive in her bedroom, no one knows how long she had been without oxygen.
Lisa-mother, Marie’s Priscilla Presley, told PEOPLE that her daughter had died, just two days after the two of them went to the Golden Globes. “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla wrote.

“She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.” Mom and daughter went to the awards show in Los Angeles on Tuesday night to watch Austin Butler win the Best Actor Award for his role in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis biopic.
Billy Bush, who writes about entertainment for Extra, talked to Lisa Marie on the red carpet. As she talked about Butler’s performance, she turned to her companion, talent manager Jerry Schilling, and said, “I’m going to grab your arm.”
She put her arm on his and held on to Schilling for the rest of the interview because she looked unsteady. She also looked pale and like she was stumbling over her words. Lisa-Marie told Bush that Butler’s role as her father was “so real” that it took her “five days to process.”

Lisa-Marie told Bush that Austin Butler had just walked up the red carpet, which was the end of the interview. A few days before she went to the Golden Globes, she went to Graceland, where Elvis lived, to celebrate the anniversary of her father’s birth on January 8. Lisa-Marie wrote an essay about “the horrible reality” of her grief after her son Benjamin Keough killed himself in 2020.
She is also the mother of twin girls and the actor Riley Keough. “I’ve dealt with death, grief and loss since the age of nine years old,” she wrote in August last year. “I’ve had more than anyone’s fair share of it in my lifetime and, somehow, I’ve made it this far.”

In August 1977, when he was 42 years old and she was nine, Lisa-famous Marie’s father died. She stayed at Graceland and remembered that he kissed her goodnight a few hours before he passed out. The next day, when she saw him again, he was lying on his back in the bathroom.
“I just had a feeling,” she said in an interview with Rolling Stone in 2003. “He wasn’t doing well. All I know is I had it (a feeling), and it happened.” “I was obsessed with death at a very early age.”
