Months after he was believed to have experienced a medical emergency while driving, Leslie Jordan, a Will, and Grace star, finally identified his cause of death.
According to a Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner report, Leslie Jordan passed away due to “sudden cardiac dysfunction.”
According to the reports, atherosclerosis, commonly referred to as “arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease,” was mentioned as a secondary cause.
According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, atherosclerosis is a buildup of plaque that results in the arteries becoming thicker or more complex. On October 24, the adored Will & Grace star lost control of his car in Hollywood after what appeared to be a medical issue. Age-wise, he was 67.

On October 25, sources close to Jordan told TMZ that the comedian had a scheduled appointment with a cardiologist because he had been complaining about feeling ill.
The Call Me Kat celebrity was only known to have experienced Covid-19 once and had no other significant health complications except these breathing problems.
With his favorite videos, Jordan emerged as a beacon of hope for many on social media during the worst of the coronavirus outbreak.
The television personality amused viewers with clips of him interacting with the public in his distinctive Southern drawl while holed up in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee, with his 84-year-old mother.
In an April 2021 interview Jordan discussed how getting sober has impacted his life.
“I got into AA 22 years ago, and I was made to examine things,” he told us at the time. “I was made to write about my fears, my beliefs, to find a god of my understanding, and it’s getting rid of that fear, that burning lake of fear.”
“I don’t know at what point, but here I am, 65, perfectly comfortable with who I am, what I am, and how that happened. I think just living life and exploring things and reading things.”
He added, “It was a journey away from things you were taught as a child. It’s in the seeking; that’s my faith and not thinking I will figure it out. It’s just an open heart.”
