Is Lil Jon the first person who comes to mind when you hear Kansas City? Saturday, you will, as the Atlanta-born rapper, producer, and hype man Future is scheduled to perform during halftime of the Chiefs’ game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The party hitmaker will be playing at halftime in the already deafening Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs broke the news with a short but instantly identifiable video posted to their official Twitter account.

In 2016, when the Texans hosted the Chiefs in the playoffs, Lil John also performed at NRG Stadium. That game was a rout for Kansas City, as they won 30-0. Hip-hop artist Lil Jon is another person this week to mark a milestone birthday; he turned 52 on Tuesday.

The Chiefs would want to go into halftime up, of course. When the mood is festive, Lil Jon really comes into his own. If the concert doesn’t get off to a good start, everyone will feel uncomfortable. Lil Jon has roughly 12 songs that are ideal for starting a fight if they’re losing. That way, you may release some of your pent-up rages.
Although Lil Jon has no genuine ties to the city of Kansas City, this is of little consequence. I really enjoy doing it. At a small concert, that’s all everyone wants to hear.
