The Washtenaw County Medical Examiner performed an autopsy on the body of Adriana Davidson. The disappearance and de@th of Adriana Davidson, a 15-year-old girl at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School, have been the subject of an online petition that has received close to 7,000 signatures.
The petition faults p0lice departments for how they handled the case. Davidson was found dead on the grounds of the high school on Monday in the early afternoon after going missing for more than two days.
The Change.org petition, which appears to have been launched by one of Davidson’s classmates, strongly criticizes the Ann Arbor P0lice and Pioneer High School authorities for how they handled Davidson’s abduction.
At this time, the Pioneer students, staff, and the Ann Arbor community must all work together to support Addy and her family, and the AAPS community must focus on doing the same.

The Mysterious Disappearance of a 15-Year-Old Girl
Adriana Davidson, 15, of Scio Township, was reported missing by her family to the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office at 12:10 a.m. on Saturday. On January 27, they claimed she didn’t come home after school.
She was last heard from at 9 a.m. that morning, when she was in route to Pioneer High School, according to family members. They searched for her and then phoned the p0lice when she didn’t come home.
Around 11 a.m., friends last saw Davidson outside the school. Despite deputies searching all weekend, she was nowhere to be found. P0lice reported that Davidson’s body was discovered by a K-9 unit close to Pioneer High School’s athletic fields on Monday, January 30.
The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office expressed their sympathies to Adriana’s friends and family in a statement on Monday. “We continue to think about and pray for you. Additionally, we want to thank everyone for helping to spread the word, sharing advice, and showing support. P0lice in Ann Arbor took charge of the inquiry.
Uncovering the Heartbreaking Details on Adriana Davidson
Adriana Davidson underwent an autopsy by the Washtenaw County Medical Examiner, but the findings were not made available right away. Changes are apparently needed to address student mental health issues, according to the online petition.
Jeanice Kerr Swift, the superintendent of Ann Arbor Public Schools, said in a statement on Tuesday that district employees began working with the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office as soon as Davidson vanished and continued to do so throughout the weekend.

No Foul Play is Suspected
In their last statement, Washtenaw County officials said they don’t think anything bad happened.
“We know that in the absence of facts, myths can emerge, and with such a tragic situation, those myths can begin to cause considerable harm,” the release said. “Parents become fearful to send their students to a school based on unverified rumors. Family members continue to be victimized from the constant barrage of inaccurate assumptions, and the integrity of an investigation can be threatened.”
When Davidson was found, deputies said there were no obvious signs of foul play, and they don’t think there is an active threat to the community.
“We ask for your patience and restraint as we allow the family of Adriana to grieve and the facts of the investigation to come forward,” the release said.
The department doesn’t plan to give out any more information until Ann Arbor p0lice have finished their investigation.
“We again offer our sincere condolences to the friends and family of Adriana,” the release said. “You remain in our thoughts and prayers.”
