On Sunday, the 65th Grammy Awards were announced. A lot of great songs have been released this year, including Harry Style’s House Party, Bad Bunny’s hot boy Verano, Adele’s “Easy,” and Beyoncé’s Unbreakable Soul.
We can now see who will require a U-Haul to transport all of their awards from the 65th annual Grammy Awards home. Beyoncé has received nine nominations, tying her husband Jay-Z, who is also an overachiever, for the most nominations in a career.
The contenders for Album of the Year include Her Renaissance, Adele’s 30, Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti, ABBA’s Voyage, which is both their final album and the first new album in 40 years, Mary J. Blige’s (Official) Good Morning Gorgeous, Harry Styles’ Harry’s House, Lizzo’s Special, Brandi Carlile’s In These Silent Days, and Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres.

Silk Sonic, Drake, and the Weeknd are conspicuously missing from this year’s nominees after requesting to be disqualified for various reasons. Taylor Swift (Twitter) will have to wait another year to receive those nominations because Midnights, one of the best-selling albums of 2022, just missed the Recording Academy’s cutoff point.
Nevertheless, her song “All Too Well (10-Minute Version)” (The Short Film) received a Song of the Year nomination. After leaving his day job at The Daily Show to pursue more of this action—standing around on a stage telling jokes—Trevor Noah (Shows) returned for his third year as host. Noah has experience hosting the Grammys and has picked up a few tips along the way.
“When putting on a live award show, it’s possible to become so preoccupied with the show’s production that you lose sight of what is actually going on in front of you. And that is that you are witnessing some of the greatest performers of this generation in person “On the Awardist podcast, Noah said.
“Therefore, if anything, it taught me to be in the moment and to pay attention to what is going on so that I could serve as the audience’s conduit. It’s just a live volcano that is erupting right before our eyes, and it is amazing to watch.”
