Jimin, a member of BTS, recently revealed an update about the release date of his planned first solo album, stating that it will happen much sooner than many fans had anticipated.
The announcement was made last Friday, February 10, during a stream that Jimin held on Weverse when he also stated that the long-rumored album “is going to drop in around March”.
According to Soompi: “I’m currently preparing lots of things that I can do together with you guys around that time. I’m planning lots of different kinds of things we can do to have fun together and enjoy ourselves, so I think you can safely look forward to it”
“You’ve been waiting for such a long time that I wanted to quickly announce this news first before starting [the rest of the broadcast].”

Jimin’s album was said to be coming out soon last month, and Big Hit Music was in the process of choosing an official release date. That information, along with the album’s name and artwork, will reportedly be released “once the schedule is finalized” according to a statement from the label.
The announcement was made just a few days after Jimin’s latest appearance alongside Taeyang of Big Bang on “Vibe.” It expands the singer’s list of joint projects, which already includes the Our Blues OST song “With You” (which he co-wrote with soloist Ha Sung-Woon) and the Snoop Dogg and Benny Blanco single “Bad Decisions,” which also includes BTS members Jin, V, and Jungkook.
Jimin’s solo debut album is only a few weeks away and he has big plans for its arrival. ✨

After J-hope, Jin, and RM all released their individual records in 2022, Jimin will become the fourth member of BTS to formally make his solo debut. Suga, V, and Jungkook have all publicly stated they are working on solo projects, however, as of this writing, none of them have made any announcements regarding their specific endeavors.
