It has been verified by PEOPLE that Rihanna is expecting her second child. As the first pregnant performer in the halftime show, the 34-year-old 2023 Super Bowl halftime act walked the stage in Phoenix on Sunday wearing nothing but bright red from head to toe.
In the first few seconds of her performance, Rihanna played up the big reveal by caressing her stomach and letting the zipper of her jumpsuit, which she wore over a form-fitting bodysuit and sculpted bandeau, fall to expose her belly. Sunday night, a representative for Rihanna told PEOPLE the report was true.
The Grammy winner gave birth to a kid in May 2022 with her boyfriend, musician A$AP Rocky. During the halftime show, Rocky could be seen enthusiastically cheering her on from the sidelines, documenting her performance, and joining in on the dance.

Rihanna made her first child’s impending arrival with Rocky, 34, public in January 2022.
