The cause of death is yet unknown. It was first reported by TMZ. In the movie Fantastic Voyage from 1966, Welch initially became well-known. She got a lucrative contract with 20th Century, Fox, thanks to her performance in the science fiction movie, which eventually led to her appearance in the same-year blockbuster One Million Years B.C. Welch, who claimed in 2017 that she nearly passed away during filming the British fantasy movie, only got three lines in the whole thing.

However, it was her portrayal of Loana in the movie’s poster wearing a “prehistoric” doeskin bikini that propelled her to fame. Welch would grow to be one of the most sought-after actresses in Hollywood after being well-known all over the world as a result of that billboard. She would play the lead in a number of films for both the big and small screens, such as Bedazzled, Bandolero!, 100 Rifles, Myra Breckinridge, and Hannie Caulder.

Her steady rise in the 1960s led to even greater success in the decade that followed, especially after she was cast as Constance Bonacieux, the Queen’s designer in The Three Musketeers. Welch received a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her work in the 1973 live-action movie.

For her performance in Right to Die, she was also a nominee for a 1987 Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Television Film. Welch, who came in third on Playboy’s list of the 100 s*xiest stars of the 20th century, made a notable cameo as herself on Seinfeld in the season 8 episode “The Summer of George.”

Welch, who received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1994, co-starred alongside Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde and has made appearances in Spin City, CSI: Miami, House of Versace, and most recently, How to Be a Latin Lover.
