Her Early Life From Beginning To Red Carpet Glamour

Cynthia Morton and Clyde “Bo” Raymond Pickler Jr. welcomed Kellie Pickler (Net Worth) into the world at Stanly Memorial Hospital in Albemarle, North Carolina, on June 28, 1986. After leaving when Kellie was two years old, her mother later came back and took custody of her for a period of two years.

Due to her father’s absence, Kellie was given back to her grandparents by the court when she was 12 years old, where they raised her until she reached maturity.

Pickler claims that her grandmother Faye Pickler and her grandfather Clyde Raymond Pickler Sr., a former electrician, have had a significant impact on her life.

North Stanly High School in New London, North Carolina, awarded Pickler a diploma in 2004. She was both a beauty queen and a cheerleader. For her high school graduation, she performed LeAnn Rimes’ “On the Side of Angels.”

She held a carhop position at a Sonic Drive-In location and participated in the Gimme the Mike! Charlotte competition hosted by WSOC-TV in 2005.

She came in second place overall. At the age of 17, she competed in the Miss America circuit and won “Miss Stanly County,” after which she went on to try out for Miss North Carolina 2004.

She is an American Idol

Pickler, then 19 years old, gave an American Idol audition in the fall of 2005 in Greensboro, North Carolina. She performed “Since U Been Gone” by Kelly Clarkson (Net Worth) and “A Broken Wing” by Martina McBride.

She was sent to Hollywood by the judges. In February, Pickler made it to the semifinal rounds. On March 9, she climbed to position twelve.

Pickler was a favorite of judge Simon Cowell (Net Worth). He once said he thought Pickler would be among the top three and that she was better than last season’s champion, Carrie Underwood. Pickler, known for her “quirky” demeanor and Southern charm, attracted viewers’ attention by claiming that she had rarely performed in front of live audiences and by mispronouncing words.

Due to her “sweet Southern style and ditzy demeanor,” she was compared to Jessica Simpson in a March 27 article in US Weekly magazine titled “Kellie: The Next Jessica Simpson.”

Pickler has previously admitted that she was ignorant of mainstream popular culture before becoming famous as an Idol.

Kellie Pickler Personal Life Story

On June 15, 2010, the birthday of her late grandmother, Kyle Jacobs proposed to Pickler after they had been dating for two and a half years.

The proposal took place on a beach at dusk. Pickler recalled the couple’s extravagant wedding plans for a Dancing with the Stars background story, saying that as the big day drew near, “I looked at him and said, ‘Honey, this ain’t us.'”

She and Jacobs got married in a “small, personal wedding on a private island in the Caribbean” on January 1, 2011.

In solidarity with her friend Summer Holt Miller, who had begun chemotherapy after having breast surgery, Pickler shaved her head live on Good Morning America on September 4, 2012.

I Love Kellie Pickler, a 13-episode reality series for CMT, was announced to feature Pickler and Jacobs in 2015. On November 5, 2015, the program debuted.

At the age of 49, Jacobs passed away from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Nashville, Tennessee, on February 17, 2023.
