Jin Updates the Army in New Picture With BTS Bandmates J-hope and Jimin

J-Hope and Jimin paid JIN, THE FIRST BTS member to enroll for South Korea’s required military service, a visit over the weekend.

On Instagram, Jin posted a picture of himself holding up a peace sign while wearing camouflage fatigues, with J-Hope and Jimin standing on either side. In the caption, Jimin wrote, “어서와,” which translates to “Welcome.”

I’m having fun,” he wrote in a WeVerse post in January to provide supporters with an update on his tenure. The military has given me permission to post this picture. Army, keep healthy and cheerful at all times. (Coincidentally, J-Hope and Jimin joined in his remarks to offer their support.)

As it happens, j-Hope is the BTS member that is next due to finish his military service. Though it’s unknown exactly when he will enlist, the band’s record label, Big Hit, alerted fans at the end of February that he would be doing so soon. J-Hope released a new solo song last Friday, March 3, called “On the Street,” which includes a verse from J. Cole.
