Has the Last of US Reached Its Final Episode?
The events of Episode 9 represent the final chapter in this arc of Joel and Ellie’s story. When Joel arrives at the hospital, he learns that Ellie will be killed in order to create a vaccine using tissue from her brain. He ignores Marlene’s orders to leave the hospital and instead murders everyone there before taking Ellie back to Jackson.
Co-showrunner Craig Mazin (Instagram) has previously said he expects numerous seasons to convey the story of Part 2, so it’s unknown how much of Part 2 will be adapted in Season 2. Will there be The Last of US Season 2 Episode 10?
