Alison Wonderland, who was born in Australia and is a singer, songwriter, producer, DJ, and player of multiple instruments, just revealed that she is expecting a child.

The headlining singer shared the happy news on social media, confirming that she and her girlfriend, who goes by the moniker “Ti,” are expecting their first child together.

The artist refers to the unborn child as a “baby wonderland,” despite the fact that the due date and the baby’s gender are unknown. Anna Lunoe, Dom Dolla, and Sullivan King, who had just become a parent himself, were among the many other DJs and producers to offer their congratulations to the singer on the news that she was expecting.

She shared the news of her first pregnancy on Instagram, “Surprise! Baby Wonderland on the way. My other half Ti & I are very excited about our collab,” alongside photos of Wonderland exposing her pregnant belly for the camera.

However, it does not appear like she will be slowing down with her music any time in the near future since she recently started a new record label known as FMU Records to highlight upcoming songs from her side band Whyte Fang.

Alison Wonderland’s Personal Life

Alexandra Sholler gave birth to Alison Wonderland in 1986. She has Croatian ancestry. She was raised in Sydney and received her classical music education there, concentrating on cello. She first played cello with the Sydney Youth Opera before switching to bass guitar in a couple of neighborhood indie rock bands.

Later, Wonderland revealed how she got into electronic dance music,

“I went out to Candy’s Apartment, a club… The Knife’s song “Silent Shout” was played. I recall completely losing consciousness, then asking the DJ, “What is this track?,” as I approached him. It’s wonderful, so please tell someone what this song is.” Her stage name parodies Alice in Wonderland, a book by Lewis Carroll.

Mental Well-Being

In 2018, Alison Wonderland disclosed that her abusive relationship had contributed to her sadness and suicidal thoughts. She had entirely lost her desire for eating and engagement with other people, and at one point she even made an attempt on her life.

Her 2017 album Awake’s lyrics were therapeutic to write. After consulting her managers and personal doctors, she made the decision to postpone several gigs in Europe in 2019 in order to focus on her mental health. She received a ton of support from countless other DJs, EDM artists, and fans.
