How Many Outfits Did Taylor Swift Change?
Look at what you forced her to do! Taylor Swift’s Era tour has finally begun after a five-year hiatus, and the Swifties will undoubtedly be Thrilled. The tour will begin at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Taylor, 33, celebrated each era with eye-catching costume changes throughout the three-hour performance, which included more than 45 songs from her 17-year career, spanning all ten albums.
Taylor’s Eras Tour, which launched in November, has since broken records after two million tickets were sold on November 15—the most ever sold for an artist in a single day. The Eras Tour was Taylor’s first live performance since the conclusion of the Reputation tour in 2018, and it marked the Grammy-winning singer’s triumphant return.
A large portion of the audience, many of whom were dressed in attire inspired by their favorite albums, applauded Taylor when she began the Lover album’s “Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince” before transitioning into “Cruel Summer” to start the show.

Taylor announced to the more than 70,000 spectators at Glendale’s State Farm Stadium before sharing that she would be performing songs from each era. Only one song from Speak Now, “Enchanted,” followed Lover before moving on to Fearless, Evermore, and Reputation. This is another indication that Taylor’s Version of her third album might be coming up next.
Before singing ‘Tim McGraw’, an acoustic single from her self-titled debut album, she performed in Red, Folklore, and 1989. There was always going to be something missing from Taylor’s discography of over 229 songs, and classic songs like “Teardrops on My Guitar,” “Mean,” and “Red” was not included in the set list for opening night.
However, as she sat alone with her guitar at the end of the runway, Taylor revealed she hoped to play a different acoustic track each night for the different tour dates, and with a catalog this big, she shouldn’t have any problems. Seven tunes from her most recent album, Midnights, were used in the show’s finale.
During the final three songs, “Bejeweled,” “Mastermind,” and “Karma,” she brought out all of her dancers once more, and the performance came to a close with fireworks, confetti, and 70,000 people dancing and singing along.
