Is Rupert Murdoch Engaged With Ann Lesley Smith for the 5th Time?

Rupert Murdoch, the media mogul, and billionaire are getting married for the fifth time.

In a story published in the New York Post on Monday 20 March, one of the tycoon’s publications, he announced his engagement to Ann Lesley Smith at the age of 92.

For example, Murdoch informed gossip reporter Cindy Adams that he met his future wife in September when she came to visit his vineyard at his Bel Air, California estate known as the Moraga Estate.

In New York on St. Patrick’s Day, the founder of News Corp. used an Asscher-cut diamond solitaire to declare his love.

The couple is planning a wedding for the end of summer. ‘We’re both looking forward to spending the second half of our lives together,‘ Murdoch said.

Smith’s first husband, country artist, and TV executive Chester Smith, passed away in 2008.

“Like Rupert, my husband was a businessman. Worked for local papers, developed radio and TV stations and helped promote Univision. So I speak Rupert’s language. We share the same beliefs,” Smith said.

Here you can see the relationship status of some other celebrities:

Murdoch has been married three times before; the first two were to flight attendant Patricia Booker and journalist Anna Murdoch, and the third was to businesswoman Wendi Deng. He’s the father of six kids.

At St. Bride’s Church in London’s Fleet Street in 2016, he wed former model Jerry Hall, making her his fourth wife. Last year in August, they officially called it quits and divorced.
