It’s possible that Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler will reunite sooner than we think. The talk show presenter stated she and Sandler are “actively searching” for a new project to work on together just days after The Wedding Singer celebrated its 25th anniversary.
On today’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, Barrymore, and Ross Mathews, co-host of Drew’s News, talked about the new film Here, starring Tom Hanks and Robin Wright for the first time since they appeared in Forrest Gump nearly 30 years ago.
Mathews began by saying, “I adore when people we love in movies re-team for a new movie,” before posing us one pressing query. “Therefore, Adam Sandler and I are asking you on our behalf. Are we performing one more? An ecstatic Mathews responded, “Wait, you guys this is breaking news,” after Barrymore said that she and Sandler are “absolutely talking about it.” There are actually talks taking place?”

Even after such an ungodly length of time, the pair have often shown that their bond is still going strong. In fact, back in December, Sandler made an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, when he and Barrymore admitted that she hadn’t heard the actor’s songs from The Wedding Singer, “Grow Old With You,” or 50 First Dates, “Forgetful Lucy,” until they were filming the sequences.
