Alvin Bragg, the new District Attorney of Manhattan, has gotten a death threat. The threat was made through email, and the police are now looking into it. Concerns have been raised about the safety of public officials because of the threat, and it’s important that violent threats are taken seriously and dealt with in the right way.
Alvin Bragg Received Death Threat
MANHATTAN An anonymous white powder was included in a threatening letter that was sent to ALVIN Bragg, according to an NBC News report. The threat was made public hours after Donald Trump threatened “death and destruction” if Bragg charged him.
A grand jury is reportedly prepared to indict Trump on charges related to the payment, which is the subject of an investigation by Bragg into a hush-money payment to Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election. The note, which read “ALVIN: I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! ” and contained a little amount of white powder, was found on Friday, according to law enforcement officials who spoke with NBC News.

There were no recorded injuries, and there was no evacuation. The DA’s office issued a statement to NBC stating that the letter “was quickly controlled and [the] NYPD Emergency Response Unit and the NYC Department of Environmental Protection confirmed there was no harmful chemical.”
Bragg informed staff members via email on Friday afternoon that the powder was not dangerous, according to ABC News. Staff members’ “strength and professionalism” in the face of “distressing disturbances,” such as threatening emails and phone calls, were acknowledged by Bragg. The probe is being conducted by both the FBI and the NYPD.
Trump has begun a full-scale offensive against Bragg and his inquiry.

In a Friday morning Truth Social post, Trump threatened “death and destruction” if Bragg brought charges against him. The requests for calm protests on Thursday were mocked by him. Later on Thursday, Rolling Stone reported that Trump is already preparing to react against Bragg should he win the presidency back in 2024.
One source claimed that the [previous] president had requested the creation of a strategy for dealing with Alvin Bragg and how the Department of Justice may react to Bragg’s ‘illegal’ probe of the president.
