Re Zero Season 3 Release Date Announced with Stunning Trailer and Visual

During AnimeJapan 2023, Kadokawa announced that the anime Re: Zero: Starting Life in Another World will be back for a third season. After two years since the end of the second season, the popular anime show will be back with a new season, which doesn’t have a release date yet.

Fans can also get a sneak peek at the upcoming season through a new trailer and image. But some details, like the staff and actors, are still up in the air. Since the second season ended in March 2021, almost two years have passed before the third season was announced. Watch the trailer below.

The Re: Zero – Starting Life In Another World – TV anime is based on Tappei Nagatsuki’s light novel series, which has been running on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website since April 2012. The first season started in April 2016, and as it aired in Japan, Crunchyroll streamed it.

These Seasons Will Keep You Up All Night:

After that, the second season of the anime started in July 2020, a little later than planned because of COVID-19. It was split into two parts, and the second one will come out in January 2021. Crunchyroll let people around the world watch the second season as it was airing in Japan.

Also, Re: Zero inspired two more anime (OVA) volumes that came out three years ago. They were called Re: Zero – Starting Life In Another World – Memory Snow and The Frozen World. Both shows were also streamed on Crunchyroll as they were airing in Japan.

Fans can probably expect the same actors to play the same parts in the third season, but this hasn’t been confirmed yet. Emilia and Subaru Natsuki were played by Rei Takanashi and Yusuke Kobayashi, respectively. The anime was directed by Masaharu Watanabe, and Masahiro Yokotani wrote the music for the series.

Chinatsu Akasaki played Felt, Inori Minase played Rem, Kana Ueda played Anastasia Hoshin, and Keiji Fujiwara played AI. There is still a chance that some of the actors and people working in the production house will change.

Kadokawa also said on stage that the anime series Re: Zero will be turned into a mobile game called Witch’s Re: Surrection. But more information about how it will be played and when it will be out has not been shared yet.
